Common questions

Someone's birthday is missing. Birthday Sync only shows birthdays saved in the Contacts app. Add the birthday to their contact (or tap Add in Birthday Sync), and it appears within a moment. If you shared only some contacts, go to Settings in Birthday Sync and choose to share all of them.

I'm not getting reminders. Check that notifications are on for Birthday Sync in iPhone Settings. To get them during a Focus, keep Time Sensitive Notifications on. You can send yourself a sample from Settings › Notifications › Try a reminder.

Can I change when reminders come? Yes: Settings › Birthday reminders and Gift reminders. Each person can also have their own timing from their card.

Does it change my contacts? Only when you add or edit a birthday yourself. It never deletes anything.

Start over. Settings › Restart setup.
